Shopping Experience

  • Buying your first custom clothing online may seem difficult, but don’t worry! We have carefully selected fabrics and customizing option to ease your shopping experience. Also, please check our remake and return policy, you will know that we are fully committed in working with you for 100% satisfaction.
  • For the essential suit, we recommend a single-breasted two-button suit with solid dark blue color, which is the most versatile option for any former events in four seasons. If you are looking to expand your style, we recommend a blazer with various fabric pattern. You can mix and match with different pants to suit for former and casual setting.
  • Yes, our tailors and stylists are available for free consultation by walk-in at our store, or by email. If you can explain your needs with picture of yourself would help us make suggestions.
  • If you are logged into your account, the items in your shopping cart will be stored temporarily. If you need to save your items for longer period of time, click on “Save for later” to store permanently.
  • There are numerous steps and processes in producing your custom suit, therefore we can’t send it out for intermediate fit test. If you can visit our showroom, you can have some idea about fit of the final product by checking out our ready-to-wear suits.

Store / Showroom

  • Our store is located in Westfield Montgomery Mall in Washington DC metro area. You are welcomed anytime by walk-in or appointment. Our store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 8:30 pm.
  • At our store, we have inventory of ready-to-wear products and fabrics samples. We have tailors and stylists on site to get your measurement and free consultation. Please check “Contact Us” under Customer Service menu for more info.
  • We have tailors and stylists available by walk-in and appointment. If you need guaranteed time for consultation or alteration, feel free to contact us to make an appointment.

Fabric / Sample Fabric

  • We use premium fabrics from Italy and England. For example, Reda fabric began in 1864 and is a leading wool fabric manufacturer in Italy. All Reda fabrics are made in Italy.

    We make special attention to lining fabric as it affects breathability and how it feels when wearing. We use Vister Twill lining fabrics manufactured by German company ENKA with technical partnership with Italian Company GIANNI CRESPI. It uses nature pulp ingredient for less static electricity. It is made eco-friendly to be worn cool in summer and warm in winter. It has outstanding perspiration emission for clean and breathable garments. It drapes excellently for beautiful silhouette.
  • Of course. You can choose up to 3 sample fabrics at no charge, which takes about 7 to 10 days. We also offer Swatch Kit for sale, which includes up to 12 sample fabrics and a measuring tape. Simply click the ‘Sample Fabric’ on product page, or go to ‘Sample Fabrics / Swatch Kit’ under ’SHOP’ menu. We highly recommend ordering samples of fabrics to feel the fabric and to see actual colors, as colors can be inaccurate on different monitor screens.
  • Even within the same fabric manufacturer, prices of fabrics may differ depending on the types of fiber used and the fineness of weaving. However, all our fabric selections are premium quality. Select a fabric based on your needs, higher grade in fineness maybe too delicate for everyday wear.

Shipping

  • Our shipping service is limited within the United States. If you need international shipping, please contact customer service to inquire about shipping charge.
  • For ready-to-wear, shipping time is about 7 to 10 days. For custom-made, shipping time is about 3 to 4 weeks, this reflects longer production time.
  • Even within the same fabric manufacturer, prices of fabrics may differ depending on the types of fiber used and the fineness of weaving. However, all our fabric selections are premium quality. Select a fabric based on your needs, higher grade in fineness maybe too delicate for everyday wear.

Alteration / Return / Refund

  • For Custom suit orders, we pay up to $80 for alteration fee at Peter Mason or at your local tailor for convenience. Also, we can happily take return and remake for free. Feel free to contact our customer service as we strive for customers’ 100% satisfaction.

    Ready-to- Wear garments and custom shirts are not covered by alteration fee support.
  • We can take return for full refund in Peter Mason gift card. Please make sure to order free fabric samples before ordering your garment. We try our best to capture the actual fabric in digital images shown on our website. Also, the high resolution fabric images are supplied by the fabric manufacturer themself for the best accuracy. However, colors may differ by monitor screens and the various light settings of the viewing environments.
  • If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can request a full refund following our cancellation policy. Return shipping is free. Check the requirements and follow the instructions in the ‘Shipping / Return / Refund’ under Customer Service Menu. Ready-ToWear refunds are made to the original method of payment. Custom-Made refunds are made only by digital Peter Mason giftcard.
